FMBC Mission and Purpose

MISSION: To know Him (Jesus Christ) and To make Him known (Mat 28:19-20 KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

PURPOSE: We exist as a Church to develop disciples striving to reach their full potential in the body of Christ and committed to living as New Testament Christians while proclaiming the kingdom of Christ locally and globally.

STRATEGY: EMPHASIZE the Scriptures (Rom 10:17 KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

EXALT the Savior (John 12:32 KJV) And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

EQUIP the Saints (Eph 4:11-13 KJV) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

ELEVATE Society (Acts 1:8b KJV) and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
